Inside The Food Bowl

One thing I’ve been doing with my twitter account (twitter.com/adeverakonda) is posting tweets of haikus that I write about my experience in The Gambia. It’s a fun and concise way of conveying everything I see, hear, feel, and otherwise sense around me. From time to time, when I wake in the morning I upload a haiku to twitter via the app on my smartphone. That I can do this from the middle of the bush reasonably consistently is a remarkable sign of technology’s progress.

In an effort to diversify content here, I’ll also be posting a haiku a week on Inside The Food Bowl. Here’s the first one below:

I’m here to grow plants.

But I will listen and learn
